Blogging Income Part 3 | Content Creation

Part 3 of this blogging income series we will talk about content creation. Content creation will be the backbone to your business presence online, if not, you will fail.

Most people are waiting for the best shortcuts to be found, well, good luck with that. Effort will be the only way to generate a blogging income online, and content is what will take you there.

Here is the “why” and “how” content is important and made. And never forget this, without it, you will fail.

Content Creation Is A Must

Don’t wait for an income online, make one. Like anything else in life, you will have to work for it here, and content creation is your money train.

I have yet to see a successful individual online who does not have “enough” content to drive the traffic it takes to succeed. And, although they do not tell you, even the so-called “gurus” started with it.

From the right blogging strategies to the right blogging platforms, all will be focused around content.

Recently I was reading from Erik Wolf’s book Blogging For Business. The book was animate about content and how it truly works for you, far after you have done the work creating it. And, as a successful blogger, it’s true.

The biggest question I usually receive from people, who did not get the FREE training course, is where and how to create good piece of content, the kind that gets ranked well.

Content Equals Visibility, Equals Income Online

Good content equals good ranking, good ranking equals visibility, that visibility equals an income online. Of course not every piece makes it to the first page, nor the number one position, but many can and should.

I mean it, some or most of your content SHOULD get ranked well. So, how do you do this? Easy, just practice the best content optimization practice, optimize for people first, search engines second.

Types of content that is a must:

Pages : Your main pages within your blog are extremely important. Even I have learned this lesson the hard way. I was always wondering why I could not get to the very top of the search engine, now I am, with all the links.

Pages will be the depth your blog posts do not carry when it comes to YOU, your BUSINESS, your OPPORTUNITIES or whatever. These should carry with them good linking structure, images, calls to action and video if you can.

Blog Posts : While pages are all about “your thing,” blog posts are where you will market your message. The same as pages are how they are created, yet, these posts will be specific to it’s title.

blogging content

Images, video and strong calls to action should be here, period, just like this one. Links to other informational pieces are a great idea, especially for SEO purposes.

Video : Duh. Sorry to say it that way, but many people miss this one major factor for converting the traffic a blog post or page can bring in.

Many of the successful online entrepreneurs today rely heavily on video to convert their content into a serious blogging income.

Content Means A Blogging Income…

So let’s wrap this up for now. Content is not only king online, but as we see the search engines changing, it has become the currency of the internet itself.

And, here is another fact; if we live in the information age, what do you think it will take to market and make money here? That’s right, information silly.

A solid blogging income will be created, because you created the content.

  1. Great post! Content is what draws people to your blog and keeps them there.

I’m interested in what you said about using pages. So far, I’ve used blog posts for my IM product reviews and other things I’ve posted about, but I’ve only used pages for things like “About Me” and other admin type stuff. I’ll have to think about other ways I can use them.

    • Thanks! I never took pages as serious as I should have until recently. That helped me dominate “online mentor” and other search terms…try it out, it does work for your blog as a whole….=) Happy new year too!

I absolutely love your blog and find many of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking for.
Would you offer guest writers to write content for you personally?
I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on a number of the subjects you write regarding here. Again, awesome website!
